Cloud Engineering Transition

Building on enterprise IT operations experience, I am developing practical capability across Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, monitoring, governance, automation and cloud architecture through structured hands-on labs and portfolio projects.

Enterprise IT operations

Approximately three years of enterprise IT operations experience at Hexaware Technologies, working across incident, problem and change management, P1 / major incident coordination, KEDB documentation and stakeholder communication in production environments.

Current academic path

Completing an MSc in Electronic and Computer Technology at Dublin City University, strengthening my technical foundations while building hands-on cloud skills alongside formal study.

Cloud career direction

Now developing hands-on Azure infrastructure capability and building toward cloud infrastructure and, longer term, cloud architecture roles — carrying operational discipline into the cloud.

How I work

A practical work style built on clarity, service-management discipline, and steady, hands-on learning.

Documentation-first mindset

Capturing decisions, configurations, and runbooks so environments stay understandable and auditable.

Service-management discipline

Applying structured incident, problem and change practices from real enterprise operations experience.

Calm under pressure

Coordinating major incident response and communication while keeping stakeholders informed.

Clear communication

Explaining technical work plainly to teammates, stakeholders, and non-technical audiences.

Learning by building labs

Reinforcing cloud concepts through hands-on Azure and infrastructure labs rather than theory alone.

Ireland-focused career direction

Building skills aligned to the cloud, infrastructure, and operations roles offered by Irish and EU employers.

Let's talk about where I can add value

Open to enterprise IT operations, cloud engineering, infrastructure and ITSM opportunities across Ireland and the EU.
